Jodie unattended: buys 115 shrimp fry for the planted aquarium. Currently preparing some oak leaves and Catappa Indian almond tree bark to further condition the water.

I've started adding fire red cherry shrimp to the tank now that it has cycled. Lots of algae.
The first few plants have arrived. More to come. I used invisible nylon thread and hollow plastic wall anchors to hold them in the substrate. So here's hoping that they root. And then
It's already Cat television. Added some Eco-Complete substrate and an Eheim 150/2211 canister filter. Next steps... modify the filter intake pipe so that I have room to attach my sponge, and then
10 gallon ADA tank (45 x 27 x 30 cm) with an Aquasky 451 LED light. There is no going back now.
