Time Management Should Be An Olympic Sport

The ACAD portfolio show went really well and I made quite a number of contacts (if you’re reading this – hello!). Although everything has sort of left me wondering: just where did the past four years go? ACAD, in retrospect, has been a boon. There were times of course when I wanted to pull out my hair and even implode due to the stress levels. However, in the end what I came out with were necessary skills: namely, extreme time management (among many others!).

ACAD Grad Portfolio Show

As the college year comes to a close, I’m among a different group this year: the graduating class. I’m not really sure where the past four years went. Please be sure to come by the Nexen Tower Garden Courtyard this Thursday in order to see myself and the rest of the 2009 Visual Communications Design graduating class. 70 graduating students from ACAD’s Design and Photography programs will be showcasing their work, so you know you don’t want to miss out.

T-Shirts and Zazzle

Where have the past four years gone? I’m almost a Visual Communications Design graduate. It’s a little scary, but exhilarating at the same time. Oh ACAD, just what are you about to let loose into the world? Haha.

As one of my final projects, I designed three individual T-Shirts based upon reptiles and amphibians (and horrible, horrible puns). Then I took my favourite one (the newt!), and with the help of Aron, we used Avery Stretchable Fabric Transfers and put it onto a thin white sweater.

ACAD Spring Show & Sale + Pirates!

It’s that time of the year again, and by that time, I mean it’s time for the annual Spring Show & Sale at the Alberta College of Art & Design. As per usual, the Spring Show & Sale will be running for three days.

Don’t miss this opportunity to come out and support the work of emerging artists while acquiring great art at great prices.

Mucusia

A few quick Adobe Photoshop paintings that I created in order to portray a hidden society that takes up residence inside of a person’s nose. Their primary exports are nose hair, and you guessed it, mucus.
